•    Overview of the four types of tendon injury and how to recognise them clinically

2. What Is Tendon Load?
•    Tensile load, Compressive load, Combination and shear (group based activity)
•    Rate of loading – how this informs your practise in assessment and management

3. Differential diagnosis and assessments – demonstration and practical
•    Ankle including when clinical presentations co-exist
•    Anterior knee differential diagnosis
•    Hamstring (proximal and distal)
•    Gluteal

4. Group discussion around diagnosis of lower limb tendons
•    What about palpation and imaging?

5. Language and why it matters
•    Education opportunities
•    Non-load based tendinopathies – how language directs you and what questions to ask

6.  Loading context
•    What is the difference between in-season management and rehabilitation and why it matters
•    Discussion around the athlete as well as private practise / general population and how to apply this concept

7. Load Progression Principles
•    Isometric → isotonic → energy storage → sport-specific loading
•    Intensity vs volume vs frequency

Practicals
•    Exercise prescription workshops and case studies
•    Practical education tips plus designing stage-based loading programs and in-season management

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1.    Classify types of tendon injury
2.    Understand tendon load and its relationship to the different clinical presentations of different pain and adaptation.
